Back to skool kid

I haven’t done anything new recently, but I felt like putting something up for all the cool people who actually visit my crappy blog, soooo, here’s a little kid design I did for a back-to-school flyer at my old office supply job. Blah. The pencil looks messed, but I don’t mind his shoes.

I asked her this bizarre question:

What would anteaters eat if they lived underwater????

To which she replied, "The answer, of course, is simple...ANTFISH."

Beaver meets beaver...

I went to a Haida art exhibit this weekend and saw some really inspiring stuff. I really have a deep respect and admiration for this form of art and the culture behind it.
Here’s my beaver examining a beaver by contemporary Haida artist Robert Davidson.

Working on Skunk-Fu has influenced me to try using gradients instead of outlines to make characters more three-dimensional. This here’s my first shot at re-designing the beaver.
